PODCASTBULLETIN
God and His Church have always used the latest and greatest technology and media to spread the important news of salvation - as a matter of fact, Jesus's last commandment to His apostles was to, in a sense, to take up the job of broadcasting:
Our work is urgent. St. Paul spoke of the need to spread the news to all the boundaries of the world. "If I preach the Gospel, this is no reason for me to boast, for an obligation has been imposed on me, and woe to me if I do not preach it!" 1st Cor 9:16
Today, we have the means to spread His message in ways never before imagined. Through websites, blogs, podcasts, social media, smart phone apps, and other forms of digital communication, we can keep active parishioners up to date and involved as well as reach people who would have otherwise been unreachable. One of the challenges of the New Evangelization is for us, as Catholics, to embrace New Media and use it to spread our faith.
“The Internet causes billions of images to appear on millions of computer monitors around the planet. From this galaxy of sight and sound will the face of Christ emerge and the voice of Christ be heard? For it is only when His face is seen and His voice heard that the world will know the glad tidings of our redemption. This is the purpose of evangelization.” St. John Paul II, 36th World Communications Day
Providing the best quality projects, photos, and videos requires special equipment and computers. If you would like to contribute financially to making our work better and even more accessible, we gratefully welcome your help!
