Hospital Visitation

The St. Luke Hospital Ministry is made up of Ministers of the Eucharist who are presently commissioned to serve at St. Lukes. Its primary goal is to bring Holy Communion to those Catholics who are in the hospital and are unable to receive communion. Besides bringing Holy Communion, our ministers also offer prayer and fellowship on a regularly scheduled basis to these patients. We are currently providing service at Ochsner Northshore Hospital in Slidell and average approximately 25 visits per month to that facility. Our aim is to be able to bring Christ to those at Ochsner every day of each month.
